Dr Fernando removed my cataract and restored my vision, I couldn’t be happier with the results. I am eagerly waiting the removal of a cataract on my other eye under Dr Fernando’s excellent care, professionalism and skill.

Having been very shortsighted all my life, I now have perfect unaided distance vision following cataract surgery by Dr Fernando. He is incredibly skilled and takes time to explain procedures and put you at ease. His staff are also professional, friendly and efficient. I cannot recommend the Specialist Eye Centre Bathurst highly enough.

Dr Fernando came highly recommended by my optometrist and several others who have been recipients of his expertise. I felt he regarded me as an individual with my own specific needs, which I very much appreciated. The whole process went extremely well and the result has been perfect distant vision. Amazing! Dr Glen Fernando removed a Pterygium from my eye - I am very happy with his work, the surgery and the after surgery care has been excellent! I can totally recommend Dr Fernando and his team for eye care.

In March this year [2023] I had ASLA surgery to my left eye performed by Dr Glen Fernando. The result is fantastic. I now have great vision and the success of this procedure has changed my life. I have been able to resume the many activities I had ceased after wrong lens insertion during cataract surgery elsewhere in NSW in 2020. After initial referral to Dr Fernando by my optometrist I was given an appointment for full assessment within a few days. Dr Fernando's concern for my distressing situation was a great relief. An appointment to undergo ASLA was made very soon after I agreed to this procedure. From the first appointment, surgery and all follow up appointments my experience with Specialist Eye Centre in Bathurst has been excellent. Dr Fernando restored my faith in the medical profession and was able to offer an effective, minimally invasive procedure to restore excellent vision to my left eye. Thankyou Dr Fernando.

I just had surgery in both eyes for cataract and corrective lens by Dr Glen Fernando, and am over the moon with the result of 20/20 vision in one eye at least. The whole process was meticulously coordinated, surgery was quick and painless, all the staff were most efficient and caring. Having great vision after so many years of wearing glasses is priceless. What more does anyone need!

I would highly recommend Dr Fernando to anyone who is looking to have eye surgery, I had cataract and lens replacement in both eyes December and January. I presented with a number of complex eye issues for Dr Fernando to navigate around and that he did, I am now completely glasses free. Words can not explain what this means to me Thankyou.

I had cataract operations on both eyes earlier last year and have just been for a check up after 18 months. I am extremely happy with the results and just wear glasses for reading. I found Dr Fernando very professional and easy to talk to as were all the staff I had any dealings with. I was recommended to Dr Fernando by three. different people and am now recommending him to my friends.
