Went to the birtinya store today and was served by the loveliest man. He was very helpful and provided great customer service. Was super impressed and wish I had caught his name. Was happy with the product we purchased but more so the service. Big thumbs up 👍

Rude staff with no idea of products, the only thing they know is we don't sell that, when it is on there website, it about time these sale people learnt product knowledge and how to sell it

Kawana is the worst Spotlight store. It's consistently unorganised and messy and the staff are unhelpful. Can't wait until the Maroochydore store opens so I never have to go to Kawana again.

I am a long time customer of spotlight and have always been happy with my visit to the store. Today I was disappointed with my visit, as few of the staff I encountered were helpful and others were unenthusiastic and rude. This made the inability to find many of the products that brought me into the store frustrating. I left feeling disappointed, not that some items were unavailable but by attitudes of young team members and how I was treated by some of the staff.

I was told by the girl at the checkout that I am wasting my time writing this review as management won't listen ..... I'll take my chances and voice my concern regardless. Once at the checkout if you have a trolley you cannot pass through to the next checkout as there is just no room to get past. Shopping life at Spotlight would be so much easier if the centre shelving containing lollies and head bands was removed allowing for shopping trolleys to access to the checkouts. 5 customers including myself were deadlocked for space as we stood back and ushered customers with one or two items through.

I brought jersey sheet set for $29 before Christmas on sale and had to exchange them on boxing day. However there boxing day sale price is $60. The supervisor I spoke to said yeah there is nothing I can do its up to head office Melbourne. So beware of so called sale prices.

I phoned the spotlight Kawana store to tell them about a set os king size 1,000thread sheets that I had bought there last year that the top sheet was all fraying as in rotting probably been washed 2 to three times as I have plenty of sheets they put me on to a department manager as store manager was away he tried to tell me storing sheets in the linen purées will do that I replied I have some sheets in linen press that I have been using for 20 years and they are still fine please do not treat me like an idiot l

I am very disappointed in the service I have received both over the phone and in store recently. I visited the store last Friday my one day off work for the week to enquire about custom made window dressing. I was directed to line up with all the customers purchasing material which I did and waited for 15mins in line there only to be told to proceed to the custom made counter where I waited behind one customer for an hour without the sales girl offering an apology once for taking so long. When she had finished with that lady she was about to serve another customer before me. I was so frustrated as my time is so precious on my day off and I only wanted to ask a question. On 4 other times this week I have endeavoured to phone the store to get some information about blinds and have been put on hold for up to 10mins only to be cut off. I find this service appalling.

Do not touch this company with a forty foot pole they do no correct & remake there staffs measure & advise mistakes. I rang spotlight to come out & give me a professional advice to fit unusual window shape. The measure, quote & advise on new windows. What I got was a lovely lady with no idea how to fit my windows. When she left my house it took 4 hrs & I was left feeling more confused than when she arrived. The fitter kept saying I don't know what to do with these windows, alarm bells were going off when she left & unfortunately I should have cancelled the job the next day. I got a call from her the next morning with just as much confusion asking if I wanted to go ahead. I was putting faith in a professional. I'm paying spotlight for this advice. The product & material is nice. I've paid over $6,000 for a job where 3 roman blinds look like they shrunk in the wash, too narrow & don't look right. Because spotlight make you pay before the fitters come out they won't fix problem.

I shop at this store quiet a lot, I went to purchase a dinner set that was $74.99, it scanned as $89.99 at the checkout. I showed the cashier where I got it from as there was also more stock sitting behind it. I then got told that the price of the ticket will not be honoured. I then stated I would understand if there was 1 box sitting on the shelf but there is other stock neatly sitting alongside. The manager ended up telling the cashier over the phone that the product still will not be discounted. This is terrible service, any other shop would always honour their mistakes. Not good enough - will now shop at T-Max instead.

This is the neatest Spotlight store I have ever been in, the staff are friendly, helpful and each department area is clean, neat, and safe to walk through.
