Having built several times previously, we had a fairly good idea as to what we wanted. Armed with a set of plans from an architect who did an incredible job of putting all our wishes together, we only wanted to work with a builder who was prepared to invest the time & effort into making sure every last detail was considered & accounted for at the quoting stage, & who shared our same focus on quality – we had previously been burnt by cheap quotes & the variation game. Naturally the experience Suncity has with builds of similar detail & budget provided us with additional confidence, but it was the willingness to offer options that both added to the home & helped us to address budget concerns that had us happy with our decision before we even began construction. After more than 12 months finding the right builder, who was able to construct our part commercial and part residential Waterfront property on the Redcliffe Peninsula, company called Suncity Homes. They saw this as a challenge and prepared to take on the job. The old property was jammed between 2 properties and therefore the excitement was even greater to bring it to a success. Suncity Homes built our beachfront home in Scarborough near Redcliffe and the whole experience was very easy.They were extremely accomodating about helping us to modify house plans, even do things like cutting through the existing slab to move the stairwell.The building manager Ben was fantastic and nothing ever seemed to be a problem.
