Frequently Asked Questions
Do you place amalgam fillings?
No, Sundial Dental believes in placing the most biologically compatible materials in your mouth, whether it is in composite or porcelain. So you only get white fillings at Sundial. Some patients are sensitive to Bisphenol A (BPA) and so we also have composite and ceramic material that is BPA free.
How long would I expect a cerec crown to last for?
Cerec has been around for over 25 years. It is a German CAD CAM technology that allows crowns to be placed in one sitting and in 1 hour without the need for conventional impressions all the clinical information is taken by a very accurate digital camera. Research has shown that the longevity of a cerec crown at 10 years to be 95% and at 20 years to be at 85%.
