I am amazed that Tamworth Regional Hospital does not offer accommodation for people who are travelling long distances for treatment. My husband had hip replacement surgery at Armidale hospital and we were given accommodation for his entire hospital stay. I have to travel 4 and a half hours for my surgery and Tamworth Hospital cannot offer me or my husband accommodation.
