I made an urgent phone enquiry to purchase a fire pump and associated hoses as our property was at high risk of bush fires. I was recommended a fire pump and suggested hose diameter. I ask for a quote and was told he would call me back with a price once he got a price from the fire hose manufacturer/supplier. Not an issue...yet. I also gave him my email address. I called back 15mins later to ask a question and obtain advice on / discuss appropriate hose sizes and the same person who served me on the phone was curt, condescending and it was clear he found my enquiry 'too hard'. I asked for 2 price options on the quote and the call ended there. A week on and I have neither received a call back or an email with the quote I requested. In the meantime, I contacted a local competitor who could not have been more helpful and responsive to my enquiry. Guess who got my order worth approx. $1,500? Price is secondary to excellent customer service for me. Every time.

They know their pumps and are confident in their abilities. Good old fashioned country service. Relaxed and friendly but good with knowledge of pumps. They also sell high quality gear.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to install a new irrigation system?

This will depend on the size and complexity of the system. For a general 8 12 zone domestic system it can take up to 4 or 5 days to install. There are other factors to consider as well. For instance, systems being installed in an existing landscape design take longer than those being installed within a new landscape design.

What are the benefits of using poly pipe and fittings?

There are numerous benefits to using poly piping and fittings. For starters, it is typically much less sensitive to temperature changes, which minimises the risk of cracking. It's also highly flexible and is able to be sealed using heat at the joints, creating a leak free seal that keeps your irrigation system running efficiently.
