Dedicated to success and putting your creative passion into action, the Actors Co. provides an opportunity for actors and artists to increase self-awareness and insight into human behaviour and by achieving individual goals, so collectively improve ourselves, our relationships, how we relate to our surroundings and ultimately, have a positive effect on a realisation of a successful career. The Actors Co. encompasses the intensive disciplines of theatre, television, film and print media and is at the forefront of coaching for acting, theatre, auditions, musical performance, dance, modelling, corporate training, job interviews and public speaking in the Illawarra. It leads the way in teaching excellence for all ages for the stage, screen or your chosen field. This innovative school honours traditional and contemporary teaching. Within the sphere of such representations in the performing arts, it emphasises high achieving personal development within a nurturing and supportive environment. Offering short courses and private tuition in acting for the stage and screen, whether you're interested in drama, looking to develop key skills in self improvement or intend on pursuing a career in theatre or television the journey begins here. At the centre of the school's teaching is a movement towards achievement of one's goals, artistic inquiry and the development of purpose. The ability to analyse, apply, express and continually challenge every student so that they may reach their highest career potential is at hand. Dennis Sykes is a professional actor with a double degree in Arts and Law. He is extensively trained in: Stanislavsky, Method, Meisner and Chekhov techniques, having trained with the some of America's and Australia's finest teachers, coaches, directors and choreographers.

Dennis Sykes has taught my daughter Morgan and the emotional, physical and voice skills in which has progressed has been nothing short of astounding. The growth in confidence and move from my daughters initial shyness to being able to be free in self expression has been such a reward. I have known Dennis Sykes for almost ten years. Dennis is not only a friend, but has been a role model for me, inspiring me in all facets of my life not limited to business, education, and health and fitness. I have found Dennis to be honest, reliable, caring, hard working, loyal, and conscientious and he has displayed these characteristics consistently for the entire duration that I have known him. I have seen the level of commitment that he applies to all of his endeavours, and the success that this responsibility has rewarded him with. He provides a comfortable, wholesome environment to the degree of your personal transition, stipulating the fundamentals in your essential areas, and offers a variety of dynamic and formal practices, which correspond to the path your focus requires. Even though he has plenty on his agenda, Dennis has the extraordinary skill of balancing all his commitments, and applying responsible attention to all his tasks accordingly. Dennis has been such a positive influence in not only my professional work but also in my personal life. He is so much more than teacher but also mentor and friend, he motivated and inspired me so much in every day life. I would not be where I am today without him.
