The Boathouse Tavern

Went here for lunch Sunday, waited one hour for our food. When it finally came my husbands steak was cold and tough, the sauce was thick and cold, the chips were cold and soggy. Also asked and paid for prawns on top, received none at all and the salad was warm disgusting, my chicken caesar salad was soggy and I asked for a half size and I got a full size, no communication with us whatsoever. Terrible service, won't be going back there again. Wasted $42.

We recently had dinner at the Waterfire Restaurant at the Boat House Tavern for my birthday and it was wonderful, it's one of my favourite places to eat at, the food is always amazing! The service could be improved as sometimes there are not enough staff on and so it means you have to wait longer for your meals, although this means more drinking and socialising while you wait :)
