Bill and his family went out of their way to help me and they were an absolute blessing. My car had broken down (cracked radiator) on the way back to Brisbane from Emerald. Under no obligation, but out of the goodness of their hearts, Bill, his wife and son, stayed with me in the heat of the morning until RACQ arrived to assess the vehicle. As they could not repair it on the spot, the vehicle required to be towed, which meant a 2-3 hour wait until the tow truck could pick us up. As it was around 36 degrees at this time, Bill and his family provided a comfortable place to sit in cool air conditioning with some food and water until the tow truck returned, illuminating the possibility of heat exhortation and dehydration.
