The Country Club - St Georges Basin

The Country Club now has a new chef and a group of us thought we would try it out for lunch. Wow, we were all pleasantly surprised! The $10 lunch specials were well presented, fresh and lots of it! The staff are helpful and pleasant and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Thanks Country Club, we will visit again!

This has been a very bad experience. First I order black pepper beef it was terrible I just couldn't swallow the meat it was so hard. I called one staff member and explained that it was just not edible..she was lovely and said she will replace it. I asked if I could change it to chicken hoping it would be better. The food came out within minutes I thought great. They put so much salt I believe that was because I complained I left it there I just couldn't be bothered. I'm writing this because I believe that your members should be treated better than that. I Will never forget my experience or recommend any one to go there again. I have been eating there regularly for the last 2 months but no more this has well and truly turned me off.

The best club in the area. Lots of different shows and venues. Pokies and great food.
