About The Garden Ecologist

I have over 35 years of botanical experience and a Sunshine Coast resident for over 10 years, I have an excellent knowledge of local plants and their growing requirements. I owed and operated the Peregian Garden Centre for 3 years and now focus on community projects and consultancies for local gardeners. I will work with you to understand your garden and the plants in it and assist you to plan and implement your garden projects. Whether your property is rural, residential or commercial, The Garden Ecologist can help you to create your ideal garden. I can help you select suitable plants to attract wildlife, grow vegies or establish a native or formal garden.

Seonaid was very professional and knowledgable. We walked around the neighbourhood looking at plants that we liked and would suit our property and Seionaid would explain the pros and cons of each plant. She also prepared a landscaping design for our property and sent us a comprehensive report including information on the various plants we had shown interest in.

The Garden Ecologist, Seonaid, was amazing. She managed to see and understand all my projects and dreams for my garden and summarise them and organise them into manageable tasks/projects and supply critical information on suitable plants for success. I now can attack each project one by one, on my own or ask seonaid to help me (with her young team). I feel I know how to approach my 13 acre garden and land now and I am less stressed and feel supported.
