Kate Gubanyi, born and bred on the Gold Coast, was a fashion journalist and avid traveller before deciding to put her love of fashion and appreciation of world class customer service into her own business. The result was the GC bridal lounge. An intimate space where her designs take flight and are worn by discerning brides who adore the bohemian glam aesthetic. Kate focuses on fit-and-flare designs and specializes in low backs. Her designs seek to flatter and celebrate the female form in a new age of body appreciation and confidence. Kate's indie glam designs are inspired by beach-babe body confidence and a drive to flatter the gorgeous curves women have been blessed with. We focus on amazing high-grade fabrics and clever lace placement. We are on trend, but abandon trends if they don't flatter. Confidence and comfort go hand in hand, so our signature stretch underlays support, breathe and move with the body.
