The Goat Cafe' & Restaurant

This time I chose the barra, chips and salad. It was filling and tasty.The salt and pepper calamari however was not as good. The calamari was tough and the batter just flaked off. I know what I'll be ordering again next time.

We came to the Giddy Goat Cafe firstly for it's catchy name then after checking out it's menu & prices, extensive & reasonable. Then after sampling a hearty breakfast it was to die for, delicious! Not only were the prices reasonable but the serving sizes were massive, so yes value for money top of the list after our taste buds recovered from the delicious meal. Inside decor is inviting with outdoor dining welcomed although pesky flies almost took over our meal. Love your little cast iron teapots too guys. Staff were alert to our needs and friendly. Couldn't fault this place apart from the flies outside, well done and we'll be back next year as we're retired seasonal travelers who eat out a lot.

She had the lamb which was perfect. He had steak which was just as nice. Service friendly and prompt.

A cool, funky cafe with an extensive menu, all meals were quite generous sizes and well priced. A really great atmosphere makes dining here something to remember. Very conveniently located in the city centre.

The jerked chicken was superb and served with a pineapple and cashew chutney. Friendly staff nice mocktails and well lit to a taxi rank. A fun night for everyone.

Was staying in Rocky for work, and came here twice, for breakfast the first time and lunch the other. Both times the meals were really good the prices and service is awesome. would recommend !

I came here with my husband for breakfast recently, and ordered our breakfast's without realising the toast already came pre- buttered. My partner is lactose intolerant, so i asked a staff member if he could please have a new slice that without butter. The Chef/ staff then also brought to my attention that the meal my partner had ordered also contained cream, and offered to change the meal. I was so impressed with the ease of the exchange, and their quick thinking of the chef, and would just like to say another thank you for the pleasant dining experience, and tasty meals.

One of my most favourite places to go (every morning) for my coffee fix in my green smoothie to start my day. Always a friendly service, and they have loyalty cards too which is a bonus.

Food here is devine, and they make an awesome iced coffee. One of my fav places to go when visiting Rocky from Mackay with family. Great menu, friendly staff and its all reasonably priced!

Ordered the entree which was amazing, the main meal came out and the steak was cooked perfectly although was too tough to eat. The waiters dealt with the problem very well, very apologetic, refunded my meal, and offered to cook another. A bad piece of meat can get into anyones supply, its how they dealt with the problem, which is why we will be returning. Great service and food.

Dropped into the giddy goat for a quick lunch stop on a couple of occasions now and have been pretty impressed both times. The 250g lunch rump is great, generous servings of chips and the amazing sauce with a beautiful goats cheese garden salad. Service is always very welcoming and friendly and also quick. All round good experience and will definitely return.

I ended up here with a mate to see how the changes they made to the eatery and what a great surprise.. this is a lovely place. You can sit outside and have a great meal and drinks. The food is nice and very affordable. There is a bar a few steps away for those who like a cold ale or two with their meal. Would recommend this great little eatery to all who like to try different things.
