First time dinner at the grove as just moved to Mackay. Not one vegetarian option on the menu as their vege options were cooked in the smoker with the meat therefore not really vegetarian. No option even for a garden salad. I wrote a email to provide feedback as this is one of my local clubs and made some suggestions however received no acknowledgment. It’s a shame as it is a nice clean modern club but they don’t cater for everyone

We had visitors from out of town so we went to The Grove for lunch, my lasagne had 2 pieces of baking paper in it, the 200g rump was more like 100g it was over cooked. The blow flies were disgusting. Sorry we wont be back.

awesome pub, but fight nights they run out of the best beer (northern) once found a bus crab on my way home

It's in a good location, great value meals for lunch and the beer is always nice and cold.

Took the family out to here one night during these holidays. Have to say the service was fantastic, very friendly, and the meals were ready so quickly after ordering (even though they were busy)â€”we were expecting a longer wait. They have a nice play area for the kids to keep them entertained while mum and dad enjoy a dinner in piece and quiet. Will be back. Thanks The Grove!

Always a great time at the tavern, the meals are a great size, and very affordable and generous. Always a great service, and it looks great after its makeover. Would prefer the tavern over any others.
