About The Place Charlestown Community Centre

The Place-Charlestown Community Centre is a modern, professionally managed, not-for-profit community venue. The Place offers a fantastic range of community rooms for hire. Large halls, meeting rooms, computer lab and commercial kitchen. Fully equipped with high quality technology. Table Tennis, Pool, Foosball and Arcade console available for use. A range of young children's toys also available for hire with the Social Hall. Packages available including half and full day rates. Catering on request. Great Venue for Social Groups and Business Meetings. Commercial Kitchen and Fully Equipped Computer Lab.

Community Hall - 200m2 - Surround Sound, Lighting Bar, 3m Screen and mounted projector, Hearing loop, attached to kitchen for catering.
Social Hall - 165m2 - Kitchenette, Pool Table, Table Tennis, Foosball, Arcade console, Surround Sound, 3m screen and mounted data projector, fun lighting.
The Glen - 50m2 - Carpeted, Private meeting room, Whiteboard, mounted Data Projector, Sound System,
The Haven - 25m2 - Carpeted, Private meeting room,
Computer Room - 12 fully equipped modern Computers, Printer, Internet, mounted Data Projector, ergonomic seating.
Commercial Kitchen - Fully equipped certified Commercial Kitchen. Available to add to bookings of other rooms or separately.

We support community members who would like to start up a new group or activity.
The Place offers Venue Hire and Event Management as well as Office Support such as Printing, Binding, Laminating, Faxing, Scanning - just ask and we will endeavour to help you with whatever office support you need.
