Post Office Hotel Tamworth

Bought food/ spent money at this establishment last night around 7:30pm with a family group and ate outside on their tables - and was denied entry by their security to go in and use the toilets- the security guard told me they had no room while also letting 4 young women in and my mother (which he was not aware I knew her) - he then tried to tell me kids weren’t allowed in (after I said but you just let those people in when I was first in line)- 2 mins after my sister walked out with her 6 year old daughter - absolutely disgustingly treated by him as well - the way he spoke to me was appalling and so aggressive-we are locals to the town and we had Sydney visitors who also spent money there - have tried to contact the business directly but the phone constantly rings out and no website - first bad review I have ever written - the shear embarrassment and discrimination felt in front of many people watching will never be forgotten but an apology and refund will be gladly accepted

A great pub with cold beer and great food and always clean and tidy , this establishment is made so much better by the quality of its staff , Jamie being probably the best bar person i have ever come across . Was sad when my contract ended and returned to Brisbane .

Great for a nice lunch or a nice cold beer. You can't go past the Post Office Pub
