The team at TOWNLEC are amazing. They were quick and stayed overtime on a Friday to get the job done. They are approachable and explained what they did and why. I was surprised at their reasonable price. They actually cared. The work shop is so tidy and the whole team (even the young apprentice) are so professional, fast and efficient. If you are searching for an auto electrician I would recommend you call them.

Peter and his staff were absolutely fabulous providing after hours service on a Friday night for an electrical issue in my motorhome. I had two new house batteries installed by a battery specialist business in Townsville earlier that day which resulted in absolutely NO electrics working, and that business was unable to rectify the issue. I contacted numerous other auto electrical businesses who were not interested in assisting as they perceived the fault by the battery specialist and their responsibility to rectify. However despite it being after hours on a Friday night, Peter was so accommodating in a very timely manner. He and his staff diagnosed the issue immediately and undertook repairs within 15 minutes. What a fabulous service. In addition Peter and his staff were so pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend TOWNLEC AUTO ELECTRICAL in all regards for a positive customer service. We contacted Pete we an issue with the hydraulic leveling system in our TV broadcast trailer, after we tried contacting the manufacturer with no luck. Pete was confident he could find a solution. Pete arrived on time, confirmed that the original system was unserviceable, and quickly and efficiently installed an off the self, simple replacement that importantly does the job. Great service. Would certainly recommend Pete to anyone.

Peter helped me save thousands of dollars! I took my Subaru to him as the aircon had stopped working. It had just come off warranty earlier in the year. He diagnosed the problem and said it would cost a few thousand dollars to fix. He suggested I double check with Subaru before he goes ahead with any work and he actually rang them himself and pleaded my case to them. He sent them through a report and they agreed to fix the aircon under warranty so I didn’t pay a cent. I really appreciated Peter’s integrity and for helping me out!

Arrived when he said he would. Very friendly and knew his stuff. Quick and efficient—replaced a battery and battery terminal in quick time. Certainly recommended.
