These guys did a great job on my previous car. I was excited for these guys to work on my next car, but three calls and one email to schedule an appointment meant: 1 no-show, no responses to my email, and 2 promises to call back to fit me in which never happened. Apparently it’s really, really hard to communicate how busy you are or why you can’t fit someone in.

Ross from Townsville Car Audio Excellence, came to my house and fitted a new GPS head unit to my 2010 Iveco Daily. All worked absolutely perfectly. He even fixed an existing fault in the handbrake sensor for me. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES HIGHLY ENOUGH. Barry Durose

Ross tries to give as much availability as he can, and finds a time that best suits the customer. His knowledge of cars is excellent and he gives great prices for the jobs he does. I would definitely recommend Ross and will be using him again in the future.

Ross and his Son Tyler provide fantastic service. The knowledge Ross has for car audio is refreshing and much better than the young installers. Ross provided the best service and even fixed problems from other installers! Five stars, I very highly recommend.

Paid $300 to get head unit and speakers installed. Speakers were cutting in and out. I called Ross to arrange a time to get them fixed which he was happy to do. He checked the head unit and said there was nothing wrong with it yet the problem was still there. I did this again and resulted in the same outcome. I took it to Autobarn and within 10 minutes of a fault check they found that the connector he used was completely stuffed. Stay away. He is cheap for a reason.

This so called professional installed a car audio system to my 4x4. What a joke. He removed bolts that hold a fuse box to get to the firewall and did not replace them when finished. I found them missing later on and the fuse box was loose, I rang and asked him if he left them out and of course he said he didn't touch them. But that's not all. When putting the cables through the rubber grommet in the firewall which is what you are meant to do he (Ross) just pushed the rubber grommet aside and and went around instead of through leaving it open to noise, dust and water. So I had to pay a REAL professional $90 to fix his dodgy work so as not to get wet feet driving in the rain or water or choking on dust on a dirt road. He is always talking on his phone while he is working and not concentrating on what he is doing. I would never use him again and warn people to go to elsewhere. Audio excellence? What a joke. STAY AWAY.

Once again Ross provided an EXCELLENT, PROMPT service to fix a mates rear camera problem. It took him no time at all to diagnose the error and rectify it. I cannot praise him highly enough. Thanks again mate.

I have the highest praise for Ross. He came late in the afternoon and took no time at all to solve my rear camera problem from my Nissan to our caravan. He rewired the connectors and was efficient and reasonably priced. Thank heaps mate. Lance

I arranged an installation date for a GPS system a week in advance for 9am in the morning on a Wednesday. When Ross did not show by 9:25 I called Ross to find out if he is still planning on showing up. He told me he had been calling my number to change the time and had left messages which I did not respond to. He's a liar. My phone shows no calls from him last week and he left a message Monday saying that he had had a cancellation and asked me to call him if I wanted to do things earlier, ie on that Monday. It was not about changing the Wednesday time at all and I did not call him back because I could not move the installation to the Monday. So, this is the kind of guy and company that is unreliable and then blames you for their incompetence. I cancelled my order because from experience I know that when you start out with a tradesperson and they don't show up and lie to you about reasons why, they do not do a good job and are full of excuses as to why their work is of such a low standard. In my opinion, steer well clear of this business.
