Very poor communication. Unwillingness to do a starter motor replacement except for an outrageous price. Wasted time & money dealing with this service.

I had to make 3 phone calls to Mackay Ultratune to book my car for an air conditioning service as messages were not passed on and I wasn't told that I needed to ring the Paget Depot. I paid $60 to have the car "looked at". 2 weeks later when I rang to enquire about whether parts had been ordered, I was told that parts hadn't been ordered and I had to bring the car back to have the parts identified as there were too many options. I said that I had already paid $60 to have a quote drawn up so the parts must have been identified and costed out. I was then told that this was only a rough written quote and they would need the car for another day to identify the parts! A long text message followed to apologise for charging the $60 with the reason that it took 45 minutes to examine the car!!!!! What a debacle. Ultratune has lost my custom totally as I had my car serviced there regularly.
