Verdi Football Club

First established in 1970, Verdi Football Club has been the training ground for many in the Alice Springs region. Re-established in the early 80's by lifelong member and current Club President Giovanni Morelli, the club is well known as a football powerhouse not only in the Northern Territory but Australia wide having produced many of the country's international representatives. Giovanni was inducted into the League of Champions in 2016 and continues to push the club to new levels.
