Frequently Asked Questions
Can I stand on my stone benchtop?
No. We recommend avoiding putting heavy objects or undue stress onto your benchtops. The integrity of the installation depends on the supports under the stone, and too much additional weight can lead to damaging these supports.
Are stone benchtops safe to cut on?
While stone benchtops are scratch resistant, we do not recommend using them for direct cutting due to damage that can be done to your knives and the benchtop over time. It is also unsanitary. We recommend using a cutting board or something similar for food preparation.
