Wallaby Hotel

The Wallaby Hotel is without doubt the best venue to see live bands . Great atmosphere great staff and the dining experience is awesome. Our band played at the Evolution Foundation gig on Sunday 13th Oct and they really looked after us.

Great local pub, with live entertainment Wednesday-Saturday nights. Large deck with playground for the kids. Good value for money meals and cold beer!

I am a Mudgeeraba local and always support local business. Some months ago the Wallaby pub had been renovated and they did have a fantastic couple running the kitchen. I have now visited twice for dinner and noticed the kitchen staff have changed. This is reflected in the food. While they try to follow the menu the quality, quantity and plate up is very very poor. I had a Lamb shank meal with one very small piece of Lamb on mash potatoes. This came with the smallest, thin (very thin) roast sweet potato, Mini broccoli and zucchini and yes wait more roast white potatoes???? $26 .What ! So if you like to eat a traditional PUB meal this is not for you. It definitely looked like budgets have been cut! We did order char grilled corn as a side and it came out Black!! No yellow colour in sight, this was returned to kitchen, it came back with additional two more pieces of grilled corn!! (not black). $8. Corn was tasteless and covered in soy sauce to hide the fact they were frozen mincobs!
