Very helpful staff and professional. I must say the costs were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend Warland Solicitors and Conveyancing to anyone wishing to buy a house or land. This company was handling a relatively simple job for my aunts estate. Absolutely no contact was made with the beneficiaries beyond an initial phone call. All contact was initiated by us. Despite assurances that calls or online contact would be made nothing eventuated. We were assured on every call we made over a 3 month period that settlement was only 2 weeks away but nothing eventuated. After almost 12 months waiting we transferred settlement to another solicitor.

Thank you for your input Jenny. I don't believe that the situation was exactly as you have stated. Estate matters are often quite complicated and can take years to complete. The official position legally is that you shouldn't distribute ANY monies or complete the matter until 12 months after the deceased's death. Notwithstanding this, I am more than happy to discuss the difficulties you faced and apologise for any inconvenience to you and the Executors. Mike W
