It's refreshing to discover a business in the Cairns area that takes full responsibility and ownership of the work they provide. Andrew was keen and on site, on time to perform the installation of the Starlink Internet system. Andrew is a true professional. He knew what needed to be done. He worked efficiently, neatly and thoroughly - with no if or buts! Finally getting rid of the '3rd world' NBN internet connection made the experience even more pleasurable. Many thinks again Andrew.......... GREAT job, well done.

Our previous Gen 2 Starlink was faulty, and needed to be replaced (and sent back), which required having to go up on the roof. After seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I ended up choosing Wide Area Communications, and rightfully so! Since the dish was getting replaced, we decided to remove the lackluster mounting job that the previous installer did (before I knew about Andrew). The old mounting hardware and Starlink was removed, and replaced with a new, cyclone-resistant mount within less than an hour, all thanks to Andrew. Ever since, it has been working better than ever, because the mount is much higher, giving the dish a better view to the satellites.

Andrew from Wide Area Communications has just installed Starlink for me and I’m delighted with the result. In spite of the heavy rain today I’m still getting excellent internet connection. Andrew is great to work with and he really knows his stuff. I highly recommend Wide Area Communications.

Absolute professionalism from Andrew, from prompt communication, reliability, reasonable quote cost. A+ service if seeking Starlink or other services tor your home. Compared 3 other businesses, Andrew's online website, manner and professionalism won hands down. As a health practitioner and hard critic, internet is my patients lifeline, gone without it for days on end in the flooding with Optus plus every time it rains beaches side goes out, Andrew got Starlink up and sorted pronto minus any of the usual Cairns nonsense. Will definitely use Andrew again who is a local, highly recommended A+ master of his trade.

Had the Starlink installed on our new house today by Andrew. He did a fantastic job and we couldn’t be happier. After just going through the process of building a house, we feel mentally drained from dealing with all the various trades, however Wide Area Communications are the exception to this. To experience such professionalism from someone in Cairns is rare and I can’t recommend him high enough; literally one of the most efficient and friendly experiences we have had and I’m glad we chose Wide Area Communications for our install.

Due to the debacle that is Opticomm. I decided to invest into Starlink and close the chapter on Opticomm and their constant failing infrastructure. It’s beyond ridiculous with regular weekly outages. This is where I met Andrew from Wide Area Communications. I can highly recommend Andrew’s service he provides. I purchased a Starlink standard kit only yesterday from JB HiFi, to my surprise Andrew was so quick to install it, being the next day and ahead of schedule on the day too. Andrew took the time to reconfigure my current router to work with the Starlink router and my network. His attention to detail and patience with the job won me over. Everything working perfectly and finally, some reliable internet. Please contact Andrew for all Starlink installs. He’s the man for the job. Five Stars out of Five Stars. Thank you again Andrew 🙏👍

Very pleased with the service Andrew provided. He knew exactly where to put the Starlink dish to optimise the service, and got in and just did it. Got back up the ladder a couple of times after he was all done to ensure the dish was exactly where it needed to be. Friendly, efficient and reasonably priced for the work done. Highly recommended
