Wide Bay Caravans is owned & operated by the McNamara family, who have over 50 years experience in the trade. The first 10 years were spent trading as a cabinet maker, the business then grew to include full fit-outs & repairs to Caravans, from there to Hi-Ace Sprinters through to 40ft Coaches & retailing in accessories and spare parts. Bought a small old.second hand van (13') from Wide Bay. No problems with the 4 hour drive back to Southport. Especially like to thank Damien(?) for installing electric brakes and the patience he showed in explaining how they worked. Also how the roll out annex worked so as not to add to the pile of damaged ones beside the fence!

We had a wide range of things we needed doing to our caravan from the front replacing due to water damage, via insurance, to a full service along with various additions we threw in whilst it was there. The whole team at Wide Bay Caravans have always been very pleasant to deal with, everything was done in a timely manner with progress reports as needed. When we did have an unexpected problem they squeezed us in and sorted us out. We travel full time in the caravan so knowing everything is good to go is a great feeling. Highly recommended them.

Do you service caravans?

Yes we do! Our dedicated services team complete full services for all caravan brands, single and dual axle. During a full service, the team will check over and test your caravan to ensure it is mechanically, electrically and physically sound and compliant with current regulations.

Can you repair awnings?

Yes! If looking to fit/install a new awning, our team can size you up and source awnings, hardware and canvas through our suppliers to suit your van. However, please keep in mind that we cannot carry out repairs to awning skins/ fabric as we do not have the materials or tools onsite to do so.
