This company is highly unprofessional. My mother (late 70s) had what she believed to be a fault with her 4-year old washing machine, which was still under extended warranty. Jason (of Wollongong Appliance Repairs) said, ’it won’t be, usually they have only 2-years’. He then told her that repairs would be $538. The machine cost $775 4-years ago and is worth about $250 now. He also told her that in his view her machine was worth $1700, presumably to make the cost of the repair sound reasonable. I have emailed, called, texted at least a dozen times to discuss this. Not a single reply from Wollongong Appliance Repairs. Any company who takes advantage of an elderly woman, over-charges for work that was covered under her warranty, lies about the value of the appliance to presumably make the repair cost sound reasonable, and then refuses to return any messages, is not a business I would recommend.

Just found out a poor repair was carried out by the service person 12 months ago using non-genuine parts and he had to bodgie up the repair in order to make the non-genuine part to fit.
