In the late 1940’s, after returning from War Service, Mr Peter Hart purchased the Pharmacy at 78 Goulburn Street, Crookwell and began trading as Peter Hart Pharmacy. Mr Hart continued to run the Pharmacy for over twenty years until his death in 1970. After his passing, his wife Mrs Alice Hart continued to own and work in the pharmacy, however she required a Pharmacist-in-charge. In 1971, having completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy a year prior, Mr Ken Wicks accepted this opportunity and moved to Crookwell from his home town of Temora, NSW.
