When we stay across the way at The Coast Motel we always come here for dinner. HUGE yummy Chicken Schnitties with HOT, FRESH pepper sauce. We opt to pay a little extra for veges & mash. The veges are cooked to perfection. Spacious eating area, decent bar & great friendly staff. Five stars!

Overpriced chain and unfortunately, our server got our order wrong and did not offer to remove the calamari from the bill?? I found a this a little lacking. Food is decent and good views of the river.

This place has a good vibe with friendly atmosphere. They serve pretty good basic Australian pub food and plenty of it. Very busy at lunch time (always a good sign), so it's wise to book if you're a largish group. As to whether they serve American food, you have a choice of hot chips (fries) and salad or veges with most mains, and burgers and steaks are on the menu, but they're Aussie style burgers.

New industrial chic decor and a fab menu to go with it! Great wines, such a warm and inviting feel to it. I also love the way the new decor really shows the building's history - Headricks Building never looked so good. What a transformation!

We got recommended the motel on our drive thru to TSV from Northern NSW. We are glad we took the recommendation as they catered for our family needs & we also stayed there on our back through. I had some mates tell me that the grand in mount Morgan was doing really good meals so we decided to take the drive from rocky to see how good it actually was. We were very surprised with the whole expirence. The restaurant was a little dated but we could not fault the meals! Had a starter of cheese and onion garlic bread which was delicious!

We booked in for the weekend and must say had a great time, the boys had footy carnival and no better place in town to cool down and have a wonderful tasty meal, clean and kids welcome all 20 plus of them cheers for a great stay.
