I personally can’t recommend Rhys skilled workmanship and communication highly enough. Rhys helped me get my 300c back on the road within a day of replacing the alternator taken my battery back to his house to charge and then doing a final in depth diagnostics check. Just for his piece of mind that my car wouldn’t catch fire on the way down the road… Had my special alternator delivered within three days of ordering. Also, ya can not find this model car alternator at any automotive shop in Mackay. not even Repco. “Hints special” aha! Was fitted less than two hours. he had all the tools and gadgets that was needed for the job. Rhys had went above and beyond as I wasn’t in town to move the vehicle to my mums but this bloody legend had done so with no extra cost. a true blue all round mechanic, real people person great communication and I had to force him to take $50 more to add to the bill aha!! thanks again Pal! All the best on you’re endeavours.

I rarely write reviews but I believe this experience absolutely deserves it. The customer service and work performed was beyond exceptional to say the least. Had the car ECU Custom Mapped / Dyno Tuned by Jake / Mike and what a massive difference felt in the power and performance. I could immediately feel the change in the car from the moment I drove off. Throttle is ‘touchy’ due to the increased power and when I overtook my first car I could definitely feel that additional 40hp of power you unlocked. Very impressed with the whole package Diesel Smart. Awesome work! I personally believe it has been money well spent on my behalf. If I lived locally, I have no doubt you would be my choice of mechanic. Without hesitation, I definitely will be recommending your services with my recent experience.

Excellent service! I was on a trip from Cairns to Brisbane and was hit with a DPF full error. Toyota Mackay was unhelpful. After calling about 8 mechanics (all full) I was referred to Peter at Mackay Car and Commercial who offered to look at the car first thing in the morning. Got me back on the road after an hour. Highly recommended - low prices, fast service and very accommodating mechanic in Mackay.

I have never dealt with a company with such poor communication. I dropped my car off at 8am Monday as instructed and was told they would call me Wednesday as it was a 16 hour job. I had to ring EVERY DAY to find out what was happening and finally got the car back after TEN DAYS!!!!!!!!!! Lift your game guys
