Today, Marsden Psychology is a dedicated team of over 20 experts and support staff who have been working in the field of psychological and neuropsychological services for over 20 years. Focused on our local community and its constant evolving needs, our approach has always been to research problems within the community, assess individual needs and develop action-oriented community-based programs, while taking up the challenge of keeping up to date with the best practices, assessment tools and latest discoveries in the field. Because we value and respect the needs of our community and actively seek feedback on our services, we have recently made some changes at Marsden Psychology. We have taken steps to move toward two specialised mental health clinics: the Kids Clinic, and the Stress and Trauma Centre. Both are located in the health hub of Corrimal, a central location for those in both the northern and southern suburbs of the Illawarra, and within reach of Campbelltown and Sutherland Shire.

Working in private practice allows me the privilege of supporting many people, from all walks of life, presenting a variety of different issues and concerns. What therapy offers is a safe place to explore the past and look forward to the future, or to explore what might be happening in the present. I offer a therapeutic relationship, empathy, non-judgement, and I come from a stance of curiosity. I ask questions that help clients broaden their perspective which fosters new hope. I work collaboratively so clients feel empowered and can create a positive change in their lives. ​ When working with clients I integrate a variety of different methods and interventions. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. I hold registration with the Australian Counselling Association and hold additional qualifications and training such as, Narrative therapy, Trauma training, Youth mental health and many more. I am also a Mental Health First Aid Instructor which allows me opportunity to equipped people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise, connect and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.
