Maitland Family Support Scheme strives to achieve the best outcomes possible for children, families and the community, by promoting and supporting safe children, strong families and supportive families. Family Support Program. This program offers support and assistance to families using a strengths based family centred, child focused approach. MFSS Family Support Program is an Early Intervention program that provides case management for up to 12 months. Eligibility. Families that reside in the Maitland LGA or in the suburbs of Beresfield & Tarro, Families that have a child in their care under the age of 13 years. Pregnant women. Families that are not receiving case management from another service or agency including Brighter Futures or Family and Community Services.
