People come to me when they're seeking an empathetic, non-judgemental counsellor to listen to their concerns and help them work through their challenges. I am passionate about supporting people through difficult times in their life, using my experience and creativity to find ways forward that work for them. I provide online and telephone counselling services to folks all over Australia. My areas of specialty are: - Grief and loss counselling - Stress and Anxiety Mangement - LGBTQIA+ issues. I welcome clients in non-traditional relationships (including polyamory and Ethical Non Monogamy). My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+ friendly. Passionate about supporting children and parents. I will take the time to get to know you and your child, understanding the context of your challenges in a caring, patient, non-judgemental manner. The therapeutic interventions I offer are personalised, based on my intuitive and evidence-based application of approaches drawn from cognitive behavioural therapy, dyadic developmental psychotherapy, emotion coaching, narrative therapy, play therapy and mindfulness. Here at The Horse's Heartbeat the animals are at the centre of all we do. We have a herd of five horses - two miniature ponies and three 'big' horses. The horses, along with our dog, cat, four sheep and many chickens all form part of The Horse's Heartbeat team.
