Thank you for being here! Watershed Counselling is located in the Hunter Valley, in the arty and food hub Maitland as well as in Cessnock working from the West Cessnock Medical Practice. We work with you to tackle worries that are important to you and support you to overcome the negative thoughts and feelings, anxieties, or whatever else might be impacting you feeling good. We work in partnership with you to address the issues, discovering new ways of thinking and acting that will lead to a fresh direction for your life. I help adolescents and adults to cope with Relationship difficulties, Anxiety and Stress, Depression, Workplace Stress, Adjustment Disorder, Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Disability. I provide neuro-affirming assessments, including autism and ADHD, for adolescents and adults. My special areas of interest include working with couples, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, trauma as well as men’s mental health. I have worked in Private Practice, Marriage/Relationship Counselling, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), the Primary Health Network, the NDIS and Out of Home Care environments. I use a warm and empathic style, and work collaboratively with people to develop therapy objectives and provide counselling to meet individual needs. In doing so, I equip individuals with the practical skills, tools and coping strategies to make positive changes in their lives. I focus on building relationships to support people.

For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all different paths of life as they navigate their personal healing journeys. I’m a psychotherapist trained in the Hakomi method, with additional training in art therapy, couples counselling, and meditation. I’m here to offer a space where you can explore your emotions without judgment, allowing whatever arises to be felt and processed at your own pace.
