Scott is a second generation roofer who successfully completed his apprenticeship many years ago under his father Tom Cooper. Tom, with his wife Wendy ran a very successful roofing business in the local area for over 30 years. Melissa comes from a local family who were part of the first settlers to Port Macquarie. Her late father John Jackson was the owner manager of North Port Motors in Port Macquarie along with her mother Sheree.
