Candescents is the retail front of Krazy Catz, selling gorgeous hand-poured soy candles made with love on the Fraser Coast. As a family owned and operated brand, we are not just dedicated to creating a great product, but to supporting our local community. Upon its inception, Candescents had a dream of giving back to the community. As this passion grew, it was realised there was a void in the market of assisting local communities to raise funds for causes that are important to them. We started out as a humble little post office in Bundaberg, Australia, and slowly grew into the gift store we are today. It all began when we started stocking a few pairs of thongs (or flip-flops for our international guests), beach bags, and hats - things that visitors were buying when they came in to send a postcard. Locals started picking up these items as well, and then we found some nice travel accessories, jewellery pieces, and other gifts. We thought we'd put a few of these items in our store and see how they went, and the rest is history. We still operate the post office, and what better addition than to offer online gift shopping with delivery via POST? This way, we don't have to take your orders to the mailbox once they're packaged up.
