The Shed was established with the aim of providing men with a place to be productive, establish new relationships and even just somewhere to have a cup of tea and a chat with someone. Newcastle City Council have allowed us to occupy what was formerly the local tennis club at Beresfield. The premises are not ideal for our purposes but surprisingly we manage to create items for the local community when we are asked to. Not having a dedicated shed limits our ability to make multiple items for sale and this is where we are missing out on an income stream.
