Located in Aitkenvale, Townsville Vet Clinic caters to animals of all shapes and sizes, providing veterinary care to our smaller domestic pets as well as livestock (pigs, goats, cattle) and horses. Our clinic is well equipped in order to provide a high standard of care for all patients and a range of procedures are also available on property for our large animal clients. Run days to surrounding areas makes quality veterinary care easily accessible. We can also offer in-clinic referral to our registered specialist in Equine Surgery. Other areas where we can assist are: 1. Small and large animal general preventative health care, vaccinations and dental care 2. Small and large animal orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery 3. Equine lameness workups, corrective shoeing and specialist surgical procedures 4. Small and large animal artificial reproduction 5. Equine Pre purchase examinations We encourage preventative care practices and are always available to assist with the basics of vaccination, nutrition, dentistry and parasite control as much as intricacies of medical workups and surgical procedures.

Horse Agistment. Large, clean and grassed horse paddocks. No Barb wire, all high standard water and fencing. Each paddock has shelters. Your own tack and feed shed that is lockable. Drive right to your paddock gate. Free float parking. 3 bay wash area with sanded roll stalls. Large sanded and lined round yard for your safe riding and work. Large clean arena with equipment and jumps. Owner lives full time on site and checks all horses and facilities daily. High standard care and attention with excellent property improvements. Owner has life time experience with horses. Property agists 20 horses full time, paddocks do come available as people move or are transferred. Extra feeding is only $5 per wk. with your own supplied feed. Cost of agistment is $45 per wk. Basic paddock. Fenced Riding trail to Bartlett Park rodeo grounds. 14 Minutes from Willows shopping centre down River way drive, past Ross Dam and on to Laudham road. Then on to Round Mountain road. We offer a worming service. 24 hr access to farriers and vets. Large group of friendly horse people who have group riding all of the time. If you want large clean grassed paddocks for your horse to graze and you want peace of mind, then this property and all it has to offer may just be for you.
