Hi I'm Cheree, and I'm a qualified Art Therapist, HH Dip (A.TH.) and member with IICT. In the past 3 yrs I took a new turn in my life and began a journey in personal development, learning about self help, mental health, behaviours and how are mental models can determine our outcomes. From here I discovered the power of Art Therapy. Art therapy is about achieving goals and learning how, where and why our thoughts are developed. It is a way of expressing feelings in a creative way often without words. I'm also continuing my knowledge and studying a Diploma of Counselling with AIPC (Australians Institute of Professional Counsellors). I'm extremely passionate about helping others and I believe Art Therapy can be beneficial in our journey towards healing or understanding where we are going in our life. Upon booking an appointment, we send you a Welcome email with online forms to be completed. You will receive a reminder text and email 2 days prior to your appointment, including a video link will allow you to enter your online appointment with our Psychologist at the scheduled time. You do not need to pre-install any software, although it is recommended that you download the latest browser update for your computer or device before your session. Your first appointment is focused on getting to know you, your unique situation and establishing some therapeutic goals. Each session lasts for approximately 50 minutes and payment is made via secure direct debit from your nominated credit/bank card. Shellharbour Hospital was officially opened in January 1986 and is located 24km south of Wollongong in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven Local Health District. The operating suite performs mainly low risk general, laparoscopic, gynaecological, ophthalmic, dental and minor orthopaedic surgery.
