Working extensively in both Phoenix, Arizona and Tampa Bay, Florida, studio sound and engineering kept him busy before affairs of the heart drew him to our shores in 2004. I teach all styles, from kids aged 11 upwards learning the basics, to pop, rock, blues and jazz. The fastest way to progress as a student is to practice at home, building the muscle (including brain) memory - so to ignite the passion for playing, I teach tunes that the student loves, right from the start. We gently incorporate technique and music theory through those tunes, as well as through exercises that ensure that they become a well-rounded musician. I am a registered AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) enroller and will help you or your child prepare and pass AMEB or "rock school" music grades.
