As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, my role is to assist children to perform their "occupations" as independently as possible. Children "occupy" their time: playing; socialising / being a friend; going to school / being a student; performing self care tasks such as doing up buttons & shoelaces; and/or playing sport / enjoying their leisure time.
