As health professionals, we do our best in categorising each individual to a group and then giving a subsequent diagnoses and treatment plan. This method allows for fast assessment, diagnoses and treatment but does not allow for individualised and personalised care. We want to make sure we don't put you in a box but look at you as an individual and tailor a treatment plan accordingly. We will take a little longer, ask more questions and take more time to consider all your individual circumstances before distilling an according treatment plan. We will not treat blindly, we will be open if the diagnoses is unclear and do everything we can to shed light on the issue, again this will take more time but WILL end up with a better treatment result. Thirroul Podiatry was established in 1997. The chief Podiatrist is Michael Coffey. Michael treats a wide range of conditions, with a special interest in sports injuries and diabetes. He has also competed in triathlons as well as being a keen surfer. Thirroul Podiatry is focused on improving the foot health and therefore the quality of life of people of all ages.

Podiatry Illawarra caters to a wide range of podiatry services. Our Woonona podiatrists treat a range of conditions, including general foot care, heel pain, ingrown toenails, biomechanics and prescription orthotics. We treat patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.

We provide comprehensive biomechanical, gait (walking) and stance (standing) assessment using computerised technology and pressure sensor treadmill. We then create custom orthotics made using the Vertical Foot Alignment system: a technique that creates a cast of the foot while standing. The result is comfortable orthotics that correct posture.
