Kate Washington MP is the first woman to represent the electorate of Port Stephens in the Parliament for the Australian Labour Party. Ms Washington is also a Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education and Shadow Minister for the Hunter. In addition to this, she is also Member of the Legislative Assembly. Ms Washington is very passionate about mental health issues, particularly for the youth.
