I am also certified as a Qi Gong Instructor and I teach two groups a week in Qi Gong. Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing experience and regular Shiatsu sessions help to prevent the build up of stress. Common conditions helped by Shiatsu include: back pain,headaches,whiplash and neck stiffness, joint pain, menstrual pain, digestive problems, asthmatic symptoms, sport injuries,depression and stress. New at Nicole's Shiatsu and Qi gong Retreat is the Dorn Therapy Method. This is a safe, simple, effective and rapid therapy. It works by teaching the patient simple exercises that can be taught at home in order to reinforce and continue the treatment that is done in a session with a practitioner. Overall, this means that fewer sessions are required. First of all, the length of the legs is checked. After that, the practitioner will check the location of every vertebrae. Once this is checked, the emphasis is placed on correcting the partial displacement of the hips, as it is easy for the hips to slip out of their correct positions. If the hip is not properly aligned, uneven leg lengths will occur and this causes the pelvis to be disrupted, leading to problems in the spinal column. Dorn therapy uses gentle finger pressure while swinging arms or legs in order to treat the spine.

All our paddleboard classes come with a introductory lesson for beginners included. Our SUP school is located on the beach 100m west of the Shoal Bay boat ramp, towards Tomaree Headland. This location has been especially chosen for our Port Stephens paddleboard school as it is less crowded and is the most sheltered part of shoal bay. The area around our site is also a designated 8 knot zone which ensures your paddleboarding experience isnt disturbed by the waves or wake of jet skis or other boats travelling at speed. Our site is also beautiful as the area in front of our site is relatively shallow 4-8m so you have a very clear view of the seagrasses and the marine life below.
