I had a problem with an older Samsung TV and rang for some assistance. The fellow I spoke to (Edwin?) was great - he asked for details about what I had encountered and then ran through a list of checks and ways to try to rectify the issue. After further discussion, he stated that it was likely to be a main board problem and that the board in my particular TV was quite complex and a replacement board was unlikely to be found. He did not try to have me bring the TV in. I was really impressed that he was so generous and open in sharing his knowledge and experience, explaining a bit of history of my particular TV and how to fix some of the issues encountered with that model. He did not try and 'sell' his repair service at all, in fact he made it clear that my particular issue was unlikely to be repairable if the tips he suggested were not effective. I ended the phone call with armed with one last method to try and resolve the issue at no cost.

We provide professional services for TV antenna installation & repairs, satellite installations & repairs, TV set up & tune ins and surround sound & home theatre set ups across the Sunshine Coast. Our antenna service can offer you: existing antenna repairs, upgrades to your existing antenna system, including extra antenna outlets, set top box installation and instruction. VAST and satellite installation service and repairs. Set up, and installation of your TV, plasma, LCD, LED and projectors, DVD players and DVD recorders, VCR, home theatre. Insurance estimates for your home electronics. We can offer you the professional service of a qualified technician to help you select the correct equipment for your individual situation. We provide in home service on most products where practical and possible. Doug has been in the domestic electronic repair industry for 20 years, most of which have been on the Sunshine Coast. He completed his apprenticeship in Maroochydore in 1994, and has continued in the industry since that time as a qualified technician. He has a love of electronics and continues to learn as the technology changes. He has had manufacturer training over that time by most of the leading companies, such as Panasonic, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi, Sony, NEC, Sharp, and Philips.
