We were so pleased to discover Christine'™s Church of the Two Grandfathers in our local area. Our daughter wanted to celebrate her wedding in a local country setting and the venue was perfect. The church is quaint, historic and gorgeous, complete with a bell to ring out the happy couples union. The night was lovely and the reception venue, in the same grounds as the church, is spacious and relaxed and easily accommodated our 70 guests. Our caterers and bar staff were well accommodated with great facilities to prepare and serve meals and drinks. The sprung dance floor was well used on the night as we danced and celebrated to the music from the live band. And being in a rural setting, we felt at ease that we would not disturb anyone. All affordable and Christine was so helpful and generous with her assistance. Perfect for the springtime bride!

Visited the Club after moving interstate 3 years ago. The Club decor and funishings are superb and the Gaming Room equally furnished superb. Meals were ok as was the price. Staff were friendly and attentive and beer was very cold. Will call again next visit down that way.

Love the food, the interesting drinks menu, the great décor, and the vibe. To top it off, the staff are super welcoming and friendly. An absolute gem of a place this is.

I have been reluctant to visit Plantation Hotel as their reputation isn't the best but our experience was delightful. We went along for a family dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The meals were nice and the value for money was good. Will get along again sometime!

If you have budget in mind and think your getting the cheap end of the stick-be surprised. Hoey Moey offers a wonderful lunch and dinner every day for under $8!! I've had the chicken parmisana and lamb cutlets which was very tasty and filling. Love the chicken the best it's huge however the crumbed cutlets with fries and a nice gravy are a local favourite. I came with family and they had the rump which they raved on about how tender it was. Convenient parking off the street or in their parking lot and there is an immediate and easy cut through for a walk on Park Beach. Lovely way to finish or start!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Beautiful and spacious Oceanside room. Very reasonnably priced. The resort itself was gorgeous and had amazing views. Only a minute's walk to the beach...

We stopped into Bonville Golf Resort on the way to Brisbane. They had great coffee and it is so relaxing sitting and looking over the magnificent golf course. Such a nice place to stop . The staff were also wonderful.

Absolute heaven on Earth! Such a stunning property with endless photo opportunities and the barn is so charming. It was by far the most perfect place for us to get married! Bill and Shireen are awesome! Thanks for everything!!

I was able to relax and enjoy the day before my wedding in the gorgeous guesthouse and everything was taken care of on the day, from the minute I walked in barn my breath was taken away by the decor and set-up. Absolutely wonderful experience. We were the only ones there. So peaceful and quiet. Walks are well maintained and easy to follow. River and waterfalls were beautiful. Our stay was too short. Definitely coming back.

Moffat Falls is an excellent place to do some release trout fishing and guided catch.

Riverside Ranch is set on 50 acres of your "own" river front land with complete privacy .The Ranch is absolutely amazing with all the sleeping options for larger group's or for a romantic getaway. We had the most spectacular sunrise and sunset. Stunning Inground saltwater pool that overlooks the river, expect to see kangaroos around sunset . We just love this place and found it very hard to leave after 4 nights . I couldn't speak highly enough of the owners, they made us feel so welcomed and were very helpful. I can happily say that Riverside Ranch at Yamba is one of the best places I've stayed in the world.

Monique did all the setup for our wedding ceremony as well as the styling for our reception at the golf club. All of her work looked better than I ever imagined and was simply perfect. We couldn't have been happier with Monique's work and couldn't thank her enough..

Treelands Drive Community Centre is an ideal place for functions. One large and one small meeting room, a garden area which is perfect for morning or afternoon tea, data projector, well-equipped kitchen, reasonable rates and great staff - knowledgeable, obliging and enthusiastic. I have used it on many occasions for U3A, Valley Watch and other meetings, and it is just the spot.

I took my mother to the Old Butter Factory for lunch a few months ago and had the most amazing slow roasted lamb shoulder. She had Barramundi and said it was excellent. They have a new roof over all of the outside dining area now which makes it truly an all weather venue and it was a hot day when we went, and much cooler on that day than on previous visits. What a great idea to install the roofing as it is definately more appealing to sit outside when it is hot but not uncomfortable.
