Yet I pay through your silence and derision. Can I ever feel safe? Will I ever trust someone? What is love and what does it feel like and look like? Will you hear me? Can you see me? I am angry because I am broken, but I didn’t do anything wrong! They did this to me, and they moved on! Can you show me how to look forward to a life I know nothing about? I have been a patient of Jenny’s for over a year, we meet fortnightly over zoom. Jenny is helping me accept my diagnosis of OCD, ADHD and cPTSD. Our focus is me accepting that my trauma is real. We unpack and identify my triggers and the relationship between triggers and my reactions: I don’t want to continue sabotaging my relationships, particularly with myself! This practical, and non-condescending approach has “let” me let my husband “in”, and will most definitely preserve the relationship I have with my children. Jenny is a unique counsellor and I realised early on, I didn’t have to wear my “perfect person” mask for her. She is the first counsellor I have been connected with, that has genuinely added value to my life! Thank you Jenny!

The Gold Coast Women & Children's Clinic (GCWCC) was launched on 7 March 2016. The aim of the clinic is to provide a range of health and medical services to both Women and Children in every stage of life in a caring and supportive environment. The GCWCC offers a professional team of general practitioners who have special interests in all facets of women's and children's health. They work in partnership with local hospitals, specialists and Allied Health Practitioners as a holistic health service. The Clinic is located within the Eastbrooke Family Clinic Burleigh Waters, a new and modern facility that encourages and welcomes mothers and families by offering supportive and comfortable facilities such as a dedicated children's play area, a baby change area and a mother's room for complete privacy when feeding. The Clinic offers a multidisciplinary approach to services via Allied Connect including Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy. The purpose built clinic includes a nutritional consultation room, physiotherapy and exercise physiology treatment rooms, a podiatry treatment room as well as a custom designed rehabilitation gym In addition, there is an on-site pharmacy, Burleigh Discount Drug Store, offering a friendly team of pharmacists who work closely with the doctors to enhance full patient healthcare and support. The pharmacy offers a great product range tailored specifically to suit women and children. The Gold Coast Women & Children's Clinic is open 7 days a week with ample on-site patient parking.

Since 1995, it has helped thousands of patients with varieties of health conditions. Dr Benjamin Xue is a Chinese Medicine Practitioner on the Gold Coast. He started his practice in 1995 and was a highly commended practitioner of the year in 2015 awarded by ATMS and the magazine of Nature and Health. Graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1988, he received BSc degree in Pharmacology. He was also a visiting scholar at the Department of Medicine, The University of Queensland. Not only dedicated to western medicine, but he is also passionate in Chinese Medicine. He had master's degree in Acupuncture and master's degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine both from RMIT University. In 2011, he received outstanding academic award in Chinese Herbal Medicine from RMIT University. He was a sessional lecturer in Chinese Medicine.
