The seafood for sale in this shop is generally a bit expensive for me, so I enjoy the cheaper fish on special. Today (20/08/24), the sign outside showed Fresh Mullet fillets $14.95 per kg, so I ventured inside the shop to get some. The Filleter at the service counter said that they were awaiting some more Mullet which may get there soon. I explained that they should amend the sign outside, but not much interest was shown. I will try another day.

Top notch butcher who always aim to provide their customer with the cuts they are after. I am currently on a diet and am after lamb loin chops with as much fat as possible on them. They are going out of their way to help me get those. We have been clients for a long time living in Mapleton and love everything we ever bought there. Have lots of favourites like the Honey Strasbourg sausage, their yummy sausages with herbs and spices and the USA ribs. Absolutely love their service and would recommend to everyone! Feel very blessed having them in our area!!

The meat that was available was great but there were not many different cuts available, when I asked to get a single Rib on the Bone cut because they didn't have any on display in the cabinet I was told "If you want that you will have to buy the whole Rib Roast and then we'll cut it up for you." Not much good if you just want 1or 2 steaks, this is a pretty popular cut of beef and really should be in the display cabinet.
