Nicola is a Fellow member of the Orthopaedic Cast Technologists Association and is actively involved with training programs, conferences and work shops. Advanced Orthopaedic Casting particularly specialises in the application of Waterproof lightweight fibreglass casts, this means the patient can swim and bathe whilst completely submerging their cast under water, the skin is washed clean therefore no perspiration or dead skin cells build up resulting in a reduced cast smell and a more comfortable cast experience. Advanced Orthopaedic Casting realises that some patients are unable to mobilise and travel even small distances without discomfort.
