The participant can select their preferred coordinator who will help manage other supports and relationships. Behavioural support provides structured behavioural assessments under the Disability Act 2006. These assessments offer proactive and reactive strategies, as well as Positive Behavioural Support Plans (PBSP), for those under NDIS funding. This may also involve training of formal and informal supports, providing sensory advice or assisting the primary person to access other communication that supports social skills, independence and progress towards their life goals and aspirations. The social skills program involves picture-based communication, role play, mindfulness exercises and small group learning situations. Our training programs are available for anyone who wishes to have a foundation knowledge and understanding to providing support. We also offer mentoring for people requiring assistance or supervision when meeting support needs.
