Therapy is viewed as a natural way to interact and connect with their child through a highly supportive learning environment. Sessions are conducted in Jigsaw's fully equipped learning centre which reflects best practice in early intervention autism specific treatment.

We started as a steering committe in November 2008 having identified a need for a Men's Shed in the area. After a lot of hard work the Shed was officially opened in February 2011 The name relates to the area postcode of 2322 and that is the area we encompass. The Shed was established with the aim of providing men with a place to be productive, establish new relationships and even just somewhere to have a cup of tea and a chat with someone. Newcastle City Council have allowed us to occupy what was formerly the local tennis club at Beresfield. The premises are not ideal for our purposes but surprisingly we manage to create items for the local community when we are asked to. Not having a dedicated shed limits our ability to make multiple items for sale and this is where we are missing out on an income stream.
